COURSE OVERVIEW:
This course builds upon the foundational principles covered in the March 2023 Hand & Arm Physiotherapy course, diving deeper into specific upper extremity conditions, treatments, and assessment techniques. Designed for physiotherapists looking to expand their knowledge and clinical skills, this course offers a blend of theoretical content and hands-on learning, focusing on evidence-based management strategies for complex upper limb issues.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
· Identify and assess dural tension issues in the upper extremity.
· Perform a variety of special tests to diagnose shoulder and elbow conditions accurately.
· Integrate the latest evidence-based treatment protocols into their clinical practice for optimal patient outcomes.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for graduate physiotherapists who wish to review and better understand assessment and treatment of common conditions affecting the shoulder and elbow, with discussion of the most recent evidence. The material is relevant for therapists of varying experience levels.
By the end of the course, participants should be able to:

Education, experience and enthusiasm set Krista Paulson BSc, BMR-PT, MSc., Certified Hand Therapist, apart. From her first encounter with a physiotherapist as a pediatric burn patient, Krista realized the importance of the role of rehabilitation in health care. Her lifelong interest in Physiotherapy is apparent by her ongoing commitment to professional development throughout her career.

Her passion for Hand & Upper Extremity Physiotherapy is obvious to colleagues and patients alike. Krista’s favorite conditions to treat include upper extremity fractures, wrist sprains, trigger finger and finger dislocations.
