Course description:
This one-day course will cover the topics of degenerative cervical myelopathy (DCM) and lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS), focusing on evidence-based practice and highlighting the role of physiotherapy in managing these challenging conditions. We will take a 'Monday-morning' approach, where both the assessment and management strategies presented can be applied immediately.
Current research suggests that DCM and LSS are frequently misdiagnosed or 'late-diagnosed', often resulting in poor patient outcomes. This course is relevant for any physiotherapist who treats cervical or lumbar spine patients and does not want to miss these clinical pathologies.
